The Percentage of Students Compared between Public and Private Institutions in Lower Secondary Education in 2012: in Thailand, lower secondary education had the percentage of students enrolled in private institutions at 13% while in Australia and Indonesia they were 39% and 36% respectively.

The Percentage of Students Compared between Public and Private Institutions in Upper Secondary General Education in 2010: the percentage of the private sector participating in the provision of education was 20.5% in Thailand, Indonesia 49.8%, Korea 45.2% and Australia 31.5%

The Percentage of Students Compared between the Public and Private Institutions in Tertiary Education in 2010: In Thailand, the students enroled in tertiary education in private institutions were only 18.3% while in Korea the number was very high, namely 80.7% and followed by Japan 78.6%.
